JUNE 2017

I volunteered as an English teacher in Taichung, Taiwan. Our school was in a rural mountain area, surrounded by a beautiful red bridge and a flowing river.

I brought my camera with my new 50mm 1.8 lens and since there wasn't much to do in the small town, my teaching group and I often took pictures of each other and the occasional stunning sunsets.

This was the spark that ignited my passion for photography.

AUGUST 2017 - DECEMBER 2017

Got to UC Berkeley and started to take photos with friends for fun. I also started to post them to my Instagram page (@thechangvin). I later joined my friend's clothing brand and took photos for them.

Shoutout to Liz, Linda, and David for always being down to take photos.
